The JWU's branches and centers In the period that followed, JWU started its active participation in the public life of Jordan, especially in the fields of lobbying and advocacy. The dissolved branches were all reestablished and new ones were being founded. The JWU now has 10 branches (the minimum membership required for opening a branch is 100), 16 centers (the minim membership should at least be 25) and a total membership of 10,000 women throughout Jordan.
